Hello, I'm Achilleas

I'm a developer based in the Netherlands, and I've always been a note taker. If you really want to, I can show you old Moleskines full of mockups for apps I did and did not end up building.

For a few years I was leading teams rather than building, and what frustrated me was how often we would all discuss something and agree on it, and then find when it was built that we had not been talking about the same thing at all. Sketching the basics out on a digital whiteboard changed that. The disagreement came out in the room, while it was still cheap, instead of six weeks later.

I'm back to building myself now, and the need to draw things out never left. It matters more than ever with coding agents, which can read a mockup or a diagram just like you can.

I couldn't find the canvas I needed, so I built Kromdraw. It is a place to think something out and then show it to somebody.

What that means if you buy it

The person who answers your email is the person who wrote the line of code you're asking about. No support tier changes that, at any size.

It also means the risk that comes with that. A week of illness is a week without a release. Some things on a procurement checklist are not going to be ticked this year, and the pages about your data say which ones. What sits against that is the export button. Everything you make comes out in a format another tool opens, on any day you pick, including the day you decide this was a bad bet.

The other things I make

Decoy and Kitaso. Both of them run on your own machine, so they're priced once rather than monthly. Kromdraw is a different problem, since a shared canvas costs something to run on every day somebody is on it.
